BACKGROUND
The drastic changes in consumer and market demand, as well as various uncertain factors such as political and economic changes, trade wars, supply chain restructuring, and the COVID-19 pandemic, have made it normal for orders to increase or decrease sharply, driving the transformation of the industry to strengthen its ability to adapt to change. Robots nowadays are widely used in all industries, and in recent years, the changing market has prompted robots to be given more diverse and complex tasks. Companies expect easy and quick deployment of robots that can perform more detailed and complex tasks, and the trend in robotics technology is towards the development and deployment of total solutions, building a automatic robotic system through the integration of software, sensors, and other devices.
ROBOTSMITH has been dedicated to the development of robotics software technologies for more than a decade, experiencing the expansion of the application of robots in Taiwan’s robotics industry. Initially, ROBOTSMITH assisted the industry in introducing robot systems through robot simulation software, gradually transitioning to providing robotic total solution services, and working with customers to overcome process bottlenecks. Through the development of software, ROBOTSMITH enable robots to break through existing manufacturing capabilities and maximize production benefits.

2014
- Developing a domestically produced CPS grinding and polishing intelligent robot total solution.
- Completing preliminary validation of the robot system.
- Developing the robot simulation software “EzSim”..
- Developing sensor-related functional modules based on industry demand.
2016
- Introduce the robot simulation software EzSim to the robot system, allowing users to automatically generate the robot machining path.
- Establish the first domestic plumbing workpiece grinding robot automation production line in Taiwan.
2018
- Replicate and disseminate the plumbing workpiece grinding and polishing production line, improving manufacturing performance and productivity.
- Introduce robot vision technology to improve system stability and efficiency.
2020
- Introduce SmithOS and integrate AI sensing technology to achieve intelligent manufacturing.
- Introduce robot system positioning technology.
- Introduce technology for optimizing key process quality parameters.
2022
- Complete the modularization of the robot system and launch the integrated products: MiniCube, LightCube, and MegaCube.
- Focus on the automation of plumbing workpiece grinding and polishing, while also expanding into industries such as kitchenware, high-end cutting tools, bicycle frames, and medical materials.
